I guess my sense of humour in that last post isn’t quite everyone’s cup of tea, so I’m putting on my serious business face and answering these questions properly then. 
Dear onthebrinkoflife, here are my words of wisdom: Make sure that your decision to study architecture is at least an 80% interest in the discipline. Studying architecture because of preconceived notions of monetary returns and cool factor will only lead to unhappiness and despair. 
Dear charlsw, it doesn’t only look hard, architecture school is taxing physically, mentally. But for those rare little moments of pride in your work, feelings of achievement and discovery - maybe it is worth it.
